Five Tips for photographing wild Deer.
Photographing completely wild Deer in the UK is quite a challenging prospect for any wildlife photographer so I have made a list of the five things that I think will help you out most when setting out to achieve this. I must point out that location can play a large part in photographing wild deer. Some deer are quite used to humans even though they are wild and others are under a lot of pressure from hunters so I will focus on these, the hardest subjects to photograph. -Tip 1

Wildlife & Landscape photography | Micro Four Thirds at Bempton Cliffs - How did we get along?
My wife and I recently went on a camping trip to Yorkshire with the aim of doing some Wildlife and Seabird photography at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Winning a qualifying position in the Quiltercheviot Capturing The Moment 2019 competition!
So glad to find out today that my image of a male Roe Deer that I captured locally has won a qualifying position for the Capturing The Moment 2019 competition which means that it will be displayed (along with the other 23 qualifying images) at BBC Countryfile live in August! Fantastic Mr (or Mrs) Fox!
I have tried for so long to get an image of a wild Fox! In a year of living in the Norfolk countryside I have only had four encounters and was losing hope that I would ever see one again but look who decided to pay the field next to my house a visit! So they DO exist! Sadly the shot was taken at 05:15 am and I really needed to be on my way to work so I managed to grab a few shots before I definitely needed to be on my way! Moving forwards I now need to find where my Fox lives

Upcoming RSPB Bempton Cliffs visit!
Good news! My Wife and I will be visiting RSPB Bempton Cliffs in July which will be our very first visit and also (hopefully) our first encounter with Puffins! The Bempton Cliffs reserve, on the spectacular Yorkshire coast, is home to one of the UK's top wildlife spectacles. Around half a million seabirds gather here between March and October to raise a family on towering chalk cliffs which overlook the North Sea. With that in mind I am VERY much looking forwards to the trip

My Norfolk Nature Nemesis!
